December 4th 6-9pm
Kat Dison has a solo show the first Friday of December. “Recycled Stories” deconstructs the American dream, fairy tales, and folklores that are part of our childhood and adult culture. The show will be on exhibit December 4th–January 15th at The Blue Djinn Gallery located in the West Bottoms at 1400 Union Ave. A percentage of work sold will benefit The 816 Bike Collective.
My studio is a mess. I have been mono-printing on contact paper like crazy. Thought I would post a few images of an installation I did last week at Murray State in Kentucky. They were so nice to work with.

I just finished the artist inc. classes, and they were amazing. They address issues that we all run into as artists such as; marketing, website development, when you need a lawyer, taxes, ect. The list goes on. I highly recommend that anyone who is tired of fitting the stereo type of “starving artist” apply Deadlines are in December

A solo assemblage show up at The Czar Bar throughout the month of November. It’s 2-D work…A little out of the norm for me. But if you’re downtown you should definitely check it out at 1531 Grand Blvd.
Just wanted to mention that I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with the marvelous Lisa Marie Evans, our fellow resident. Collaborating is good!
